Statement of Purpose
"Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." Acts 3:19
Since the day of Pentecost to the time of Christ's return, God will send "Times of Refreshing" that comes
from His Presence. A "Time of Refreshing" is an outpouring of His Spirit upon His Church and all who repent
and are converted. These times or seasons are for specific purposes and for certain times and events.
"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Ecclesiastes 3:1
"Times of Refreshing" are times that bring refreshing change. We need to have understanding of the times
that are in accordance with God's appointed times. Without these "times of refreshing" we would be going
through difficult storms in life that would be hard to handle and too difficult to bear.
"Times of Refreshing" are times of spiritual awakening. We have been promised in God's Word a much greater
abundance of the Holy Spirit's anointing than we are presently experiencing. Still, we have only
memories of a few special meetings or gatherings where the power of God is manifested, and even then,
never as great as we read in the Bible.
"Times of Refreshing" bring times of restoration.
"And He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: Whom the heaven must receive until
the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since
the world began." Acts 3:20-21
In these final days before Christ returns, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit will come to bring total
restoration to the body of Christ. The manifestation of the Spirit is working through every member of the
body for the completion of the restitution of all things.
"And what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working
of His mighty power." Ephesians 1:19
God exceeds in greatness and He goes beyond the last excellence that He manifested among us in times
past. He desires to do greater things with each succeeding generation. And each new generation must
seek the Lord for its' own experience of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and its' own endowment
of power from Him.
"Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the
power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without
end. Amen." Ephesians 3:20-21
